Fraudulent Fashion Companies Closed


THE Italian authorities have closed 410 fraudulent fashion websites, it has been revealed, targeting those selling counterfeit high-fashion luxury goods, including items from Prada and Patek Philippe, online. Furthermore, 15 individuals responsible for the websites are being officially investigated, reports The Fashion Law, following raids that happened in 11 cities nationwide, including Milan, Rome and Palermo. Jessica Simpson’s Billion-Dollar Brand Sold

JESSICA SIMPSON’s billion-dollar brand has been sold by its owners, Camuto. The label has been picked up by Sequential Brands Group, which is set to expand it internationally into a two-to-three-billion-dollar company.
The company signed an agreement to acquire a “majority stake in the Jessica Simpson brand, including the Jessica Simpson Collection master licence and other rights, for an undisclosed amount of cash and stock,” WWD reports.
